With the successful commissioning of four new solar-powered level crossings, we are taking another step towards sustainable, future-oriented rail infrastructure.
Solar-powered level crossings enable reliable and safe operation even at remote locations, where a conventional power supply would only be feasible with significant technical and financial effort. The use of photovoltaics avoids kilometres of grid supply lines, conserves resources and ensures operational safety at the same time.
We are pleased that this project once again contributes to more environmentally friendly infrastructure and helps actively shape the mobility of the future.
